Soul Searching

I came across some new (to me) Art Journalers this week and added them to my blog links on the left over there. Be sure to check out the links…so many talented Art Journalists out there and most are sharing tons of great ideas and inspiration. We can all learn from each other…I love that!

In other news: for quite some time I have been doing some major soul searching about my life. Things like where am I headed (physically, emotionally, artistically, you name it!,) how can I earn some kind of supplemental income, what am I good at, what kind of person am I and what kind do I want to be?

Just so many things I’ve really been thinking about and trying to figure out. I’m getting pretty damn old…so, shouldn’t I have all this stuff figured out by now?

Anyway, I’m putting that out there so that anyone who might read here will understand why I’m a bit sporatic in my posts right now. I’m still art journaling but my blogs are truly suffering.

Many of you will understand, I get this way in the winter…S.A.D.-Seasonal Affective Disorder…another form of depression that I suffer through on a yearly basis.

It sucks!

Anyway, I’m working on a post on supplies and hope to post it before the weekend is over. Stick with me, I swear I will get more regular at this, promise.

If you have any questions, please leave comments and I will answer, you have my word.

Back soon!

Peace & Love,

  1. Hi Barb, we are never too old to do soul searching, are we? I hope not 'cause I am probably older than you and I still have to do it!! I too feel the S.A.D every dark winter...ugh. Best to you, kath

    1. I so adore you, never fail to make me feel better. Thank you for making me feel not so alone.
      Peace & Love,
